2025 City of Casey Fresh Words Young Writers Competition

We’re proud to share that three Clyde Secondary College students have been recognised for their creativity and talent in the 2025 City of Casey Fresh Words Young Writers Competition.

Zsofia Cabacis

Zsofia Cabacis received an Encouragement Award in the Year 7-9 Poetry/Lyrics category for her piece “Warrior Reborn” and was also invited to perform live music during the dinner reception at the official awards ceremony on Thursday, 19 June. 

Almira Hafiz
Vidisha Garg

Almira Hafiz was awarded an Encouragement Award in the Year 7-9 Creative Writing category for her story “The House on Cinders Road”, while Vidisha Garg received an Honourable Mention in the same category for her piece “Wishes Don’t Come True”.

We’re incredibly proud of all three students and thrilled to see their work celebrated by the wider community!
